Brooke Rutherford

Brooke is the Regional Director for Minnesota at ULTIMATE and she brings a wealth of experience across multiple levels of coaching. She has 9 years of high school coaching, 10 years of youth coaching, and 4 years of club coaching under her belt where lacrosse is her full-time profession.

Brooke’s playing career includes a standout performance at Concordia St. Paul University, where she played Division II lacrosse and started as a freshman. Her impressive statistics highlight her exceptional skills; she led her team in caused turnovers, draw controls, and ground balls, and was nationally ranked 3rd in the NCAA for caused turnovers. She finished her career with an impressive 85.3% shot percentage and earned the title of Defensive Player of the Year.

After her collegiate career, Brooke completed her degree at the University of Minnesota, earning a degree in Communications and Marketing with a minor in Leadership.

In high school, Brooke made an immediate impact as a 7th grader, earning a spot on varsity and later breaking the school record for most games played and started by any lacrosse player. She was named team captain, voted Midfield Player of the Year, and received MVP honors.

Brooke is currently the Head Coach for Farmington High School in Minnesota. She is thrilled about the opportunity to be a part of ULTIMATE Lacrosse and looks forward to making a lasting impact on both the players and the program in the seasons ahead.
