Hello Ultimate Nation!
We hope everyone is staying safe during this difficult time. While we continue to monitor updates from the CDC & The WHO, we want to make sure all of our players, parents and coaches remain safe and healthy.
We are and will continue keeping a close watch on CDC recommendations on how to handle and protect ourselves from COVID-19. At this time, it is unclear whether we will be able to hold the clinics we have planned at the end of April in both NJ and PA/CC. It is very possible that all April dates may need to be rescheduled and moved to May. We will update our website on clinics and other events as more information on the virus comes to light and we have an idea as to when the self-isolation will end.
Ultimate Lacrosse is dedicated to the development of each athlete on and off of the field. We will be coming up with an alternate plan in case COVID-19 continues into the summer months. We will do everything we can to still offer training even if it’s pushed back to July. We are working on training plans and workouts that will keep you active over the next few weeks. Please stay safe and send us pictures of you working on your game so we can get some of that action posted online!
With that being said, self-isolation is a great time to work on individual stick work! Below we have provided a link to a packet with workouts that can be done individually (or with a sibling if you don’t have a wall- don’t meet up with friends. Stay isolated!). Try to do at least one stickwork exercise per day and a few conditioning workouts per week. Though this is an unusual time, we still have to prepare for a great summer season!
