I moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland when I was 5 years old and have had a lacrosse stick in my hands ever since. I started playing in 3rd grade at The Country School, then in high school at Saints Peter and Paul in Easton, MD with competitive club lacrosse on the side at Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club. Next, I found my way to DePauw University where I played at a Division III collegiate level. A year after graduating, I missed the sport so much that I joined the Washington Lacrosse Club in DC and was able to play competitively once again. Then I continued my lacrosse career and was coach for 3rd, 5th & 9th graders with the Next Level Spartans!

Growing up I assisted my Dad with the Dorchester County Lacrosse Recreation program and taught the new players the fundamentals of lacrosse which helped this local program get off the ground. In my club years at Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club in Lewes, DE, I was faced with the decision to either sit on the bench because there were too many attackers or play defense and learn a whole new position. I chose the latter, which made me a much more versatile player with an appreciation for all aspects of the sport. In college, I was a part of the first ever recruited class for the DePauw Women’s Lacrosse team in Greencastle, IN. Despite the challenges of being on a team where most players did not have as much experience with the sport or the coaching staff constantly fluctuated, I took it as an opportunity to be a leading force from the get-go and rise up in ranks in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). So much so that by my senior year, we had the first ever winning season in program history!

Now I coach the 2031/2032 team plus am Regional Director of ULTIMATE CHS! Lacrosse has always been a constant for me so I'm very grateful for this opportunity to come full circle and not only keep coaching but to also continue to spread the sport in the Carolinas and beyond!
