-------

Ultimate Lacrosse Carolina is hosting a Supplemental Tryout on August 3, 2026 at Pleasant Park, giving players one more opportunity to earn a roster spot for the upcoming club season.

Supplemental tryouts are designed for athletes who may have missed earlier evaluations or who have continued developing and are ready to compete at a higher level. Ultimate Lacrosse is known for its structured training, experienced coaching, and ability to help players build confidence, improve fundamentals, and elevate their game.

The session will run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and is open to all age groups. Players will be evaluated by the coaching staff through a combination of skill work, positional drills, and live gameplay situations.

Ultimate Lacrosse Carolina emphasizes a development-first approach, focusing on fundamentals, game IQ, and team play. Coaches will be looking for athletes who bring effort, coachability, and a competitive mindset to the field.

This is an ideal opportunity for players still looking to join a team for the upcoming season or those seeking a more competitive environment.

With rosters nearing completion, remaining spots are limited and will be filled quickly following the tryout.

Players are encouraged to register in advance to secure their spot.

A: Not at all. Supplemental tryouts are specifically designed for players who missed earlier dates or have improved since then. Coaches are actively looking to complete rosters, so strong performances here can absolutely earn a spot.

A: Beyond stick skills, coaches are paying close attention to effort, coachability, and how players compete in game situations. Players who communicate, hustle, and make smart decisions tend to stand out just as much as raw talent.

A: Yes. While rosters may be close to finalized, there are still targeted needs across teams. Every year, players earn spots through supplemental tryouts because they bring something the team is missing.

A: The environment is competitive but supportive. Ultimate Lacrosse emphasizes development and confidence, so players are pushed to perform while still being coached and encouraged throughout the session.
