Ready to give lacrosse a try? Ultimate Lacrosse Charlotte's Intro to Lacrosse Clinics are designed to give young girls a fun, welcoming way to experience the sport and start learning the game.
Open to girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade, the clinics will be offered on September 21 and November 11 at Myers Park Traditional School. Families can choose the date that works best for them. Each clinic runs from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and costs $35 per player.
No club lacrosse background is needed. The goal is to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of the game in an environment where they can learn, move, build confidence, and have fun.
Players will get an introduction to the skills that make lacrosse exciting, including stick handling, ground balls, passing, catching, movement, and basic game concepts. Activities can be adapted for younger players and those picking up a lacrosse stick for the first time.
For parents who are curious about lacrosse but aren't ready to commit to a full season or training program, this is an easy place to start. Your daughter gets a 90-minute introduction to the sport and an opportunity to experience the Ultimate Charlotte coaching environment firsthand.
