Ultimate Lacrosse Charlotte will host tryouts for the 2026–2027 club season this June, offering players the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in one of the region’s top development-focused programs.
Ultimate Lacrosse is known for its structured training, experienced coaching, and commitment to helping athletes build strong fundamentals, improve game IQ, and compete with confidence. The Charlotte program provides a high-level environment for players who are serious about improving and competing within a strong team culture.
Tryouts will be held across two dates and organized by graduation year.
On June 22 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, players graduating in 2028 through 2030 will attend tryouts at Queens University.
On June 22 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, players graduating in 2031 through 2036 will attend tryouts at Charlotte Country Day School.
During both sessions, players will be evaluated by the Ultimate Lacrosse coaching staff through skill drills, positional work, and competitive gameplay. Coaches will be looking for athletes who demonstrate strong fundamentals, effort, coachability, and the ability to compete within a team environment.
These tryouts are ideal for players who are looking to take the next step in their development and compete at a higher level.
Families are encouraged to register in advance to secure a tryout spot.
Teams will be finalized following the completion of the evaluation process.

(No games on Holiday Weekends)
$800 per team, Max 12 per team
Cost is $66 dollars per player
We want to help the sport continue to grow in Charlotte and help high schools to be competitive with a strong player pipeline. As a program that focuses on developing players, we know how important it is to put a stick in a player's hand and to teach and encourage them! High school programs will have an opportunity to watch and cheer on their middle school programs immediately following their games. And middle school programs will have the same opportunity to support their elementary school programs! We are working to support the game of lacrosse through community building!
We are supplementing the cost of the league because we want more kids playing and we want it accessible to all players. If a player needs help with equipment, please reach out to us when registering.

Unleash the fun this winter with the Little Laxers program, hosted by Ultimate Lacrosse at Matthews Athletic Complex! Designed specifically for girls in kindergarten through 5th grade, this dynamic lacrosse experience runs every Saturday from December 7th to January 25th.
Our program offers a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse in a supportive and engaging environment. With a focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, Little Laxers combines instructional sessions with fun, game-based activities to keep players active and excited.
Participants will have access to top-notch facilities and receive expert coaching from experienced instructors who are dedicated to fostering a love for the game. Whether your child is new to lacrosse or looking to refine their skills, Little Laxers provides a perfect balance of learning and play.
